| Tri Community VFD Works Car Fire HAMILTON COUNTY, TENN – Wednesday, June 25, 2008 – At about 7:45 PM, the Tri Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported car fire on East Brainerd Road near Horizons Drive. Engines 1243 and 1245 arrived on the scene to find a red Honda Civic 4 door heavily involved in fire. Firefighters pulled an inch and three quarter line from Engine 1243 and made quick work of the fire. The owner of the vehicle stated that he had just replaced the motor in the vehicle and that it was uninsured. Traffic was halted in both directions on East Brainerd Road by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department while firefighters extinguished the blaze, |
