| Tri Community Works Overturned Van HAMILTON COUNTY, TENN – Saturday, June 07, 2008 – At about 2:55 PM, the Tri Community Volunteer Fire Department received a call of a one vehicle MVC, overturned van with the parties still inside in the 2900 block of Banks Road at Mountain Shadows. Engine 1245 responded and arrived to find a Ford Econoline Van on its top in a very deep ditch. The occupants, a female driver and two small children were already out of the vehicle and denying injury. They were checked by Hamilton County EMS and refused transport to the hospital. It appears that the vehicle was traveling north on Banks Road when the driver lost control and left the roadway, entering the ditch and striking the bank on the opposite side. This caused the vehicle to turn onto its top. The accident is being investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department |
