| Fort Oglethorpe Handles Shed Fire FORT OGLETHORPE, GA – Thursday, May 22, 2008 – At about 4:20 PM, Fort Oglethorpe Engine 1, Engine 10 and Battalion Chief Doug Flury (907) responded to 53 Edgewood Circle for a reported house fire. Both engines arrived simultaneously to find a small shed on fire at the rear of the residence. Firefighters pulled an inch and three quarter line and extinguished the fire almost immediately. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. There were no injuries and all apparatus were back in service very quickly. |
