Two Injured in Forsyth County Crash

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA – Saturday, February 23, 2008 – At 4:07PM, Forsyth County Fire
responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 9 and Punch Hammond
Road in northern Forsyth County.  Engine 12, Rescue 12 and Forsyth County Med 13
rushed to the scene to find two vehicles involved, a Ford Ranger pickup truck and a Ford
Explorer.  The Explorer had heavy front end damage, and the pickup truck had extensive
front end and right side damage.

Medic 12 was requested for a second patient and transported non emergency to North
Fulton Hospital.  Medic 13 transported the first patient to Northside Hospital in Forsyth.  That
person was in stable condition.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
